Nurburgring, Episode one: "What is the Nurburgring?"

My name is Peter Polak. I am yet another Nurburgring addict. I am also a documentary film maker. I just uploaded my first episode about the Northloop.

Here is the link:

This is the first episode of an upcoming series about the famous Nurburgring. The series will investigate and try to answer the question: why does the Nurburgring attracts thousands of people every year for more then eighty years?

The episode one is somewhat directed to viewers that are unfamiliar with the Nurburgring. Any self respecting gear-head or petrol-head knows that this is one of the coolest places on Earth, a mecca for motor sport enthusiasts that must be visited at least once in a life time.
The Nurburgring is incredibly addictive and for many, one time visit turns into life time love affair.

I am myself completely addicted to the Nurburgring, and over several episodes I am going to attempt to “corrupt” you with my passion.

There will be surprises, useful information about how to be faster on the ring, there will be interviews with people that really know how to go fast around the ring, and I will introduce you to the biggest race events at the Nurburgring.

Enjoy the ride!

Race Ramps

Hi folks,

now my Toyonda is ready to hit the tracks again I need to start thinking about dealing with wheel swaps in the pits etc.
My car is pretty low (3 1/4" at the front) and it makes it a pain in the ass to jack up

Race Ramps in the USA do some really lightweight tiny 3" ramps that would be perfect - I'm sick of pissing about with heavy wood stuff to do the same thing.

Anyone know any stockists in the UK so I don't get hit with shipping and possibly import taxes ?
