Took our track car out to Lakeside last weekend. Most of you may not know lakeside in Australia, my local circuit. Said to be one of the favourites by many professional race car drivers. It used to be an international raceway until it closed in 2001. Seven years later they re-opened as a local race track for motoring enthusiasts.

looks like a cool little setup you have there at Lakeside! Just a note for you guys trying to promote your team and event- I only figured from the external link to the .au time attack series address that you and this circuit are Down Under, however for guys more local who'd like to get involved there's still no info about location that I could see at a glance.

I'd like to get involved in something like the Lakeside TA here in the UK, unfortunately the TA series we have here is a bit more professional (like the full TA series in Aus) and I'd rather do something a bit more low key to start with- if there was a series that I could compete in for the same as a cheap trackday (£100-200 a time) I'd be there.

Thanks for that. I edited the first post so it makes a little more sense now :)

cool, I was actually meaning on your website though- you've got to hope there are plenty of people who would be enthusiastic to join you guys, so a bit more info up front there would be pretty useful I'd reckon. Good luck with it all, I'm envious!
