Hi All,

Im Mark, and as you can mostly likely guess i am an mx5nutz'er

however I am in need of some advice. i am buying a track toy either a 1.6 or 1.8 mx5, my issue isnt with the power or the negine which is refreshing as knowing both cars i know the differences are minimal at best.

however from the two choice which would you choose

1.8 UK MK1 MX5
Black
Full electrics PAS
Full Tan interior
Tan roof (wil be removed)
Has BC raing coilovers (heard mixed reviews)
LSD

Issues
has been stood for over a year...
has slight crash damage, it nudged a lampost and crakced the bumper and bent the bonnet

1.6 Early Import Mk1 Eunois Roadster
Silver
No electrics
No PAS
Good Mohair Roof (again will be removed)
Totally Standard

Issues

Cambelt rubbing on cam cover so will need replacing/inspecting

Welcome fellow mx5 owner lol.

How much is your budget? As I may be inclined to rule both of those out, unless a full inspection is carried out. If the cambelt is rubbing on the cam cover, something is badly wrong there! And the 1.8 although stood for a year, may have problems once running due to it being stood depending on how it was left (outside or inside etc).
